Speedway on ice!
Join the excitement
Speed skating is held at
Iceworld Boondall on Sunday mornings at 10am. And at Iceworld Acacia Ridge on Saturdays (except the last Saturday of the month) at 6:30pm.

Beginners welcome

Don't forget to bring your bike helmet and gloves. Wear long pants and long sleeves

Come and Try sessions are free to participants and are funded by the QLD State Government Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing.
About Us
The Queensland Ice Racing Association, QIRA, is the peak governing body for ice racing in Queensland. There are currently two affiliated clubs in Queensland. The Roos Club and the Blades club.

QIRA is affiliated, in association with the equivalent organisations in NSW, VIC and WA, with Australian Ice Racing.
