Speed skating is held at Iceworld Boondall on Sunday mornings at 9am, and Iceworld Acacia Ridge on Saturdays at 6:30pm.

Beginners welcome

Don't forget to bring your bike helmet and gloves. Wear long pants and long sleeves. Please arrive 30mins before the session start.

About Us
The Queensland Ice Racing Association, QIRA, is the peak governing body for ice racing in Queensland. There are currently two affiliated clubs in Queensland. The Roos Club and the Blades club.

QIRA is affiliated, in association with the equivalent organisations in NSW, VIC and WA, with Australian Ice Racing.

Mission Statement
Our organisation is dedicated to promoting the sport of ice skating in Queensland and Australia. Together, with our clubs, we manage the ice racing program for our state.

The Queensland Government is proud to provide funding for the Queensland Ice Racing Association to get more Queenslanders active through sport and recreation.
